An excerpt from FOOTSTEPS IN THE ATTIC, by Paul F. Eno From "The Baddest Poltergeist in New England," Page 93 "Up this way. This is where it’s worst," my apparent hostess pointed up the stairs, which were littered with articles of clothing. At the top, a spacious apartment opened out. The place would have been beautiful had it not been an absolute catastrophe. The floor was covered with debris, there were black scrawls of "death," "die" and a few less mentionable things on the walls, and the place reeked of sulphur. The electrical field was so powerful that it felt like bugs crawling all over my skin. "This is my home! Do you believe this? Ahhhhh!!" She shrieked, and my head quickly swung around to look where she was looking. We both ducked just in time as a huge armchair whizzed over our heads and crashed against the opposite wall!
